Still, impressive!
That Guy tells me there's a big Metallica download release being planned to coincide with Metallica's new album, too.
With ongoing weekly DLC releases including individual tracks, track packs and full albums, the Rock Band music library will feature more than 500 songs by year’s end!

This is so much better than the crap list from Rockband 1. And it's so much better than all the Guitar Hero songs! But still, it's not perfect. A lot of the songs could be changed.
Agreed, and hey, where's my Crowded House?!?
Also, the latest news is that, due to licensing issues, not ALL of the songs downloadable for RB1 will be available for RB2. They haven't said which yet, so we don't yet know how much of an impact that has.
